Mercedes 320 cdi OM642 no oil to turbo.

After oil change my turbo broke due to no oil suply, my theory is that cox and "dirt" from the engine clattered the oil lines to the turbo and made it brake.
I have heard that turbos might go bad after an oil change because new oils are so god at cleaning the engine from cox build up, and results in clatterd engines. So what are ur guys theorys?
