Charleston Mayoral Forum: Mika Gadsden

During the public safety portion of the Charleston mayoral forum, activist Mika Gadsden differentiated herself by saying that the city distributes a disproportionate amount of its tax revenue to police compared to other departments.

She added that she would address public safety through more accountability and transparency efforts in the police department among other efforts.
