In Matthew 6:19-24, Jesus taught about the dangers of Mammon, but we must realize that Mammon isn’t money. While money is neutral, the love, worship, and ceaseless pursuit of money is demonic. Money cannot provide for you, only God can. He gives us the power to obtain the wealth we need, but we must honor God with that wealth. We cannot trust in our own power or praise ourselves for what God gives us. How you handle money on Earth will show how trustworthy you are for the true riches of heaven.
