A Glorious Accident (6 of 7) Stephen Jay Gould: The Unanswerable
An interview with American paleontologist and evolutionary biologist Stephen Jay Gould. He was an expert on land snails in the Caribic area. He was fascinated by the evolution since he was five years old because of dinosaurs, when he visited the American Museum of Natural History. With Dutch journalist Wim Kayzer he talks about his youth, his theories, the Burgess shale and his work. In the Dutch television show A Glorious Accident (1993) six scientists talk about their visions on their work and the world. Journalist Wim Kayzer asks them: how far did you come in your understanding of our thoughts an actions?
