Opal treatment: Andamooka matrix gems: success!

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well! Here it finally is, the best I could do to show my process of how I treat Andamooka matrix opal using sugar then acid to blacken the opal. I’m really happy with the results. I used fresh acid to be able to see what happens when the opal goes in, and like many of you, this was the first time I got to see too, and I wasn’t expecting a massive instant reaction but what happened was really cool to se.
