We tend to glamorize the blooming roses of our lives; our youth and peaks, but never old age and downfalls. We celebrate the best times - printed onto our brains as if they were the only moment we were beautiful; bringing the picture of the blooming roses into our journey while forgetting the times we withered. We don't love ourselves in our darkest times because all we could ever think of are the picturesque images of ourselves.
