Raw footage inside prison: While filming inside juvenile prisons our cameras capture things as they happen inside the facility. In this video, our crews were in the prison yard when a "Signal 200" was called. We watched as a 16-year old boy was being taken to the Segregation after he had taken off from his unit and tried to scale the razor wire fence and run away. Once inside the prison Seg unit, correctional officers told us it had been a busy day. This was the second attempted escape of the morning.

We then talked to the teen through his cell door, where he told us why he tried to run. He said he was mad because officers on his unit got on his nerves and he was finally fed up. He also discussed family problems at home and his life on the streets, which included gang affiliations since he was 8 years old.
