From edifier can get some alternative active speakers: edifier r1280t, edifier r980t, R1000T4, R1600T III, R1700BT and R1800T III. These Edifier Studio 7 (R2700) are so amazing good, I compare these one with my magnat speakers I am so *ucking sad, that my magnat cost 4 time more, but sound so similar. These Edifier active home speakers are amazing deal for this price, about 150$. You get 3-way active speakers with three-amping technology amplifier and optical input + remote control. Some of features from homepage: Electronic bass tone control with DSP technology, Dual digital (optical, coaxial) and two analog (RCA) audio inputs, Completely wooden cabinet with MDF-plates, Magnetic shielding, Professional 5-pin XLR connection cable, Conveniently located side panel with full digital control and Wireless Remote Control.
