Colorectal Cancer in young adults: A patient's story
A Dana-Farber Cancer Institute patient opens up about getting diagnosed with advanced colon cancer at age 34. Dr. Kimmie Ng, director of the young-onset colorectal cancer center at Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center says their research in the center is focused on getting to the bottom on an alarming trend - an increasing rate of colorectal cancer cases diagnosed in adults younger than 50 years old.
