The BMW M8 Prototype's V12 engine produced 640 horsepower!
The E31 BMW M8 received 640 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque from a 6.0 liter V12 engine. Unbelievable numbers considering the prototype is over 30 years old. Today, BMW's most powerful production series vehicle - the M5 CS - only makes 627 horsepower.
