Inaugural Kenya Airways direct flight from Nairobi lands in New York

The Boeing787-8 Dreamliner carrying 234 passengers left the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 11:20 pm on Sunday after being flagged off by President Uhuru Kenyatta. Jeff Koinange was part of that historic 15-hour nonstop journey, and documented the following report.
