Stanford Prison Experiment: Prisoner 8612's Emotional Breakdown

After the Stanford Prison Experiment ended, Prisoner 8612 described his emotional breakdown on Day 2 of the study as the most upsetting experience of his life. In 2018, however, he told an interviewer that he actually had a great time in the study and was only faking emotional distress (even though the breakdown was recorded and occurred in the presence of eyewitnesses).
