Louis Vuitton Cruise 2022 Fashion Show Review

Louis Vuitton's Resort 2022 collection was an optimistic expression from the womenswear artistic director Nicolas Ghesquiere. It referenced designers like Pierre Cardin & Paco Rabanne's space age styles, and seemed to stem from the fact that space travel is becoming less and less just a figment of our imaginations! But there was signature of Louis Vuitton from the famed monogram, bags like the Petite Malle, and a gaggle of avant-garde clothes. Obsessions with the "parabolic" technique, vinyl, and circles were fun nods to Pierre Cardin, and little moments seem to reference Cristobal Balenciaga's Haute Couture work as well!
