Power of the Compound Effect | Saptarshi Prakash | TEDxNITW

The compound effect is the strategy of reaping huge rewards from small, seemingly insignificant actions. Saptarshi Prakash is a Senior Product Design Manager at Swiggy and an alumnus of IIT Madras. Through his talk, Saptarshi emphasizes on how his hobby of designing posters and t-shirts in college and the hours spent speaking in front of a mirror which would have seemed like unfruitful activities have compounded to set him aside from the rest. He also encourages us to never stop learning and reassures everyone that if you're in the right place at the right time, things will eventually work in your favour. A graduate of IIT Madras, Saptarshi Prakash has worked with some incredibly well-known startups of India like Housing.com and Zeta India and has rehauled both websites from the ground up. He is currently the Product Design Manager at Swiggy, India’s largest food ordering and delivery platform. He has also given over fifty UX talks and has held workshops at various universities and companies and has written multiple articles on designing.
