MGSV - Destroy the AA Guns - Sniper Full Clear/No Alerts (Hard)
I've been posting a lot of lethal runs lately, mainly sniper stuff. This is for my own practice with weapons testing and building. Sniping, particularly unsurpassed such as this, requires focus and can be seen as a form of ranged stealth; it's an odd concept, but also something you just cannot achieve without the use of weapons.
I firmly believe Kojima fine tunes all aspects of MGS, fleshing out all options for the player. When I finish playing any random stealth game, I feel it made me better as a pacifist, sneaking stealth player. When I finish playing an MGS game (and TLOU to an extent), I feel like it made me a more well-rounded player across all aspects of gameplay. Sniping is incredibly fun when done right, and I'm really interested to see how Kojima will include its use in TPP. With an open world and hopefully better .50 cal rifles, I think sniping at 1000m in TPP might not only be possible, but will be fun as all Hell.
My reasoning behind the continuous lethal uploads is to better acclimate myself with all aspects of MGSV gameplay, which also adds to the overall entertainment Factor of the game. Quite honestly, ghost runs get boring after a while, and the replay value goes out the window real fast, especially on a demo game like this which I've milked for months. And finally, The Phantom Pain will, quite honestly, be a game NOT based around players ghosting every mission. I've logged over 100 hours in Peace Walker, and while ghost gameplay in MGSV is possible and is fun, TPP is meant to be played like Peace Walker where you engage enemies in the field and recruit them to build your team, your base, and thus your lasting enjoyment in the game.
In short, my plans for TPP are already set and I'll be doing something pretty unique, but I'm an MGS and Peace Walker veteran, so to think of playing the game against the way Kojima has set it up would be simply disappointing in the long run.
TL;DR - Weapons training videos add more life to the game and I'm set for TPP. My plans for TPP recording will be something truly unique that you won't see anywhere else and will be multifaceted.
Stay tuned...
