Smartpropoplus Flysky FS i6 simulator virtual joystick vjoy for fpv

Connect Flysky FS i6 transmitter to desktop via microphone input and configure smartpropoplus to emulate a virtual joystick. Easy and quick fix for fpv simulator control via FS i6

For this entire setup to work, very little has to be done on the hardware connections front.

All we need to do is connect two wires to the transmitter port at the back. One to the sleeve ring which is ground and the other to the top pin on the left side (when you are looking at the port)

This connection can be made it multiple ways

Easiest is if you have a s-video cable lying around, cut it near the male connector and identify the pin corresponding to our pin on the transmitter port (top pin on the right when you are looking at the port)

All we need to do now if connect this pin on the connector to top segment on our 3.5 mm pin or cable which ever you may have chosen. Connect the wire connected to the ring to the ground segment of the 3.5 mm pin or the cable.

Another way to do so will be to use the 2 header pins and fix them at the back port as shown in the image and then solder the corresponding wires of the 3.5 mm pin to it.

Similarly breadboard jumper wires can be used to connect to the port, but keep in mind that the most secure way is to use the connector that fits the port, lose cables or pins may fall of when playing and you will crash, not that is impacts the real aircraft but it sure does ruin the fun, till you fix it and get back to playing again.

This is all that is needed for the hardware connections. Just make sure that the wire is long enough to reach the microphone input on your desktop or laptop.
