‘Sinister motive’ behind latest tax cuts announcement

Small Business Women Australia’s Amanda Rose reveals why she believes there’s a “sinister motive” behind the government’s latest tax cuts announcement.

“I actually think there’s a sinister motive here,” Ms Rose told Sky News host Steve Price.

She explained it sends a message that the “more you earn, the more tax you’ll pay”.

“What they’re saying is that – don’t bother, don’t be aspirational.

“Because the more you earn, we’ll just tax you anyway, so people will just start giving up, and that is dangerous.”
