DIY LED Levitron | How to make a magnetic levitating spinning top from scratch | Science explained
Hey, everyone! In this video, you get to see how I made the LED Levitron levitating spinning top, you get to hear my scientific explanation behind how it levitates and what keeps it levitating in place, and of course, you get to see the cool thing hovering!
I spent a few months working on this project on and off, getting the levitating spinning top itself to be perfectly balanced and reducing the weight was the hardest part of perfecting the LED levitron, so in the end, it turned out pretty stable and I finally succeeded with my creation, I'm really glad to be able to share this project with you guys!

Materials needed to make the LED Levitron:
(x1) 1' Neodymium rare-earth magnet with 5mm hole
(x1) Waterproof plastic LED capsule
(x1) 3V CR2032 Lithium button cell battery
(x1) Popsicle stick
(x2) SMD LED diodes (Two colors)
0.67mm Copper wire
5mm wooden stick
(x1) Rounded thumbtack
