For almost a game and a half, the duel took place under the dictation of the hosts, and eventually resulted in a grandiose battle, the fate of which was decided on a tie-break. Nizhnevartovsk won the opening set with a clear advantage and continued to bend their line in the second – 11:5. A sharp reversal occurred after the double replacement of Anton Volvich, who for the first time in his life led a rival team in his native Nizhnevartovsk. Diagonal Egor Sidenko and connecting Roman Zhos appeared on the court. Anton Andreev's gliders helped to get back into the game. Gleb Radchenko sent two attacks out, Dmitry Kudryashov successfully completed the final game, replacing Ilnur Rakhmatullin at the end of the first game, Sergei Kostrov and Stanislav Kassel did not break through the Orenburg block – 11:11.
Sidenko led Neftyanik ahead with an ace – 13:12. The hosts lost confidence, and the guests picked it up. Radchenko and Kostrov made a mistake in the attack, and the captain of the Orenburg team, Dmitry Makarenko, left the hosts of Ugra-Samotlor out of the way twice in a row - 22:16.
In the third game, Kudryashov and Andreev fired outs at the guests one after the other. Valery Pyaskovsky's wards broke away – 14:11. Sergey Bagrei and Mikhail Kulygin met Makarenko's attack with a block – 19:15. In the end, Nizhnevartovsk won 23:20. However, Radchenko made a mistake on the serve, Sidenko excelled in the counterattack, and Kostrov sent the ball out in attack – 23:23. Opponents helped Yugra-Samotlor to resist. Zhos did not hit the home team's court with a pitch, and Sidenko – in attack.
At the end of the fourth set, Sidenko took advantage of the confusion in the ranks of the hosts – 21:19. Nizhnevartovsk soon got chances to even the score, but a mind-blowing draw in which both teams took turns performing feats in defense ended with a shot out by Mikhail Nikkel. Zhos brought a set ball to Neftyanik, singlehandedly blocking Anatoly Volodin's attack - 24:21. Radchenko's unsuccessful serve ended the game.
The Orenburg team earned the first break point in the tiebreak. Sidenko scored in the final game – 4:3. Ugra-Samotlor was able to seize the initiative after a change of sides. Kassel complicated the reception for the opponents, and Kostrov struck an accurate blow in the attack – 10:9.
In the next draw, he did not get into the hands of the blocking Makarenko – 11:9. Volvich took a timeout. Nizhnevartovsk saved the ball after the Orenburg captain's discount, but Kostrov struck out. Instead of 12:9 – 11:10. Denis Zemchenok and Sidenko, who came on as substitutes, ruined the guests' serve, and Kulygin and Nikkel stopped Makarenko's attack with a block – 14:11. Volvich took another break. Andreev scored on the second attempt. Makarenko knocked out the hosts from the reception, and Kudryashov did not flinch in the attack – 14:13. Pyaskovsky had to take time out. The pause was beneficial. The hosts coped with the reception, and Militsky, with a blow to the hands of the blockers, brought the team a fifth victory in the championship, which allowed them to leave the last place and get closer to Neftyanik, which occupies the fourteenth line in the standings.
