I Made a Victorian Walking Skirt and It Wasn't Entirely Quick and Easy (An Ode to Perseverence)

Yes, I do still sew too - I'm quite good at it actually - and here it is... a year and a half after actually making and filming this project, editor Sophie Black and I have worked together to create an actual sewing video for you for the first time! Consider this a dress rehearsal, if you will, for bigger things in 2021...

***** Fabrics and notions *****
* William Morris "Marigold" printed quilting cotton purchased at John Lewis department store in the UK. LOTS of places carry Morris fabrics - shop around for the best price. I bought 4m (4.5yd) at £16/m in the Spring of 2019.
* Tarlatan from Whaley's of Bradford, UK: https://www.whaleys-bradford.ltd.uk/
* Linen from Gray Line Linen, New York: https://www.graylinelinen.com/
* Waist tape from Ribbon Connections in the US: https://ribbonconnections.com/
* Kinkame Japanese silk embroidery floss purchased online from Britex Fabrics, San Francisco: https://www.britexfabrics.com/
