The finals of the Tokyo European Olympic Qualification Tournament 2020 was a battle between two teams that deserved to be at the Olympics. Germany had looked unstoppable, beating Turkey in the group phase with a formidable core of young players like Louisa Lippman and Hannah Orthmann. Turkey played an incredibly clutch tournament to get here, beating both Belgium & Poland in 5 set thrillers. What followed was a clinic in verteran experience from Turkey, with Eda Erdem & Naz Aydemir leading the way to a 3 set win and a berth in the Tokyo 2020one Olympics.
