Zagg XTR2 Screen Protector - Bring Back the Original XTR!!!

While the previous version, the Zagg XTR, was the best protector I tested last year, the XTR2 did not live up to my expectations.

Adding a "2" to the name of a product often implies an improvement or an upgraded version. However, it's important to assess the product based on its individual merits. In the case of the XTR2, it appears that while it provides excellent direct impact protection, it falls short in other areas.

The average edge strength, rough oleophobic coating, and susceptibility to scratches are valid concerns that can affect the overall user experience. It's unfortunate that the XTR2 did not perform as well as expected and has ranked relatively low at #19 out of 29 in my rankings.
