Live from NYC's Queens after Hurricane Ida killed at least 14 people

On Wednesday, heavy rains prompted the National Weather Service to issue the first-ever flash flood emergency warning for New York City. At least fourteen people were reportedly killed in the flooding in NYC and New Jersey.

Mayor Bill de Blasio declared the state of emergency shortly before midnight, saying the city was 'enduring a historic weather event' with 'record-breaking rain' and 'brutal flooding.'
