NEW VW Polo GTI R5 Rally Car in action! Sound, Accelerations, Turbo Anti-Lag & More!

During the 2018 Monza Rally Show there was the Italian debut of a brand new Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 rally car fielded by HK Racing and driven by Alessandro Re/Fulvio Florean. It was able to finish 2nd in class among over 60 R5 cars.
The Polo GTI R5 is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbo engine with 272 hp and 400 Nm of torque. A five-speed sequential gearbox, permanent four-wheel drive and its weight of just 1,230 kilograms allow the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds.
