Toshiba MQ01ABF050 Spindle Motor skewed
An unusual failure in a Toshiba MQ01ABF050 500GB 2.5" laptop HDD. The HDD had suffered physical shock. This resulted in the spindle motor becoming skewed leading to a noticeable 'wobble' when the platter is rotated.
The background noise is caused by the fans in the clean air environment which the work takes place in.
