Ferrofluid and Vibrating Magnet ~ Slow Motion Cymatics ~ 4k |Magnet Tricks

In this experiment I place a ferrofluid display near a bass speaker, that is connected to an online tone generator. I placed different shapes and sized neodymium magnets on the speaker, just magnetically attracted to the speakers own magnet. The magnetic pull wasn't all that strong which enabled the magnet to bounce around when the volume was high. The ferrofluid bottle is close to the moving part of the speaker but isn't touching.

Interesting thing happened on low volume in the 28-29 Hz region. 28 Hz made the ferrofluid pulse and 29 Hz froze the ferrofluid in whatever the shape it was in, left by the pulsing. Check out the spike tips, they are stopped either round or sharp position. I found this to be very interesting. I tried to experiment and film more of this, but couldn't found the right variables anymore.
