Autocorrect fail: iOS spell-checking seems to be getting worse with iOS 13. Apple's approach to AI is privacy-safe ... it's on-device, sharing less data. But that isn't helping them make it better faster than Google's.

Focusing on privacy is a great thing. But it does have consequences, experts say, in its development of artificial intelligence. Apple's AI is not nearly as strong as Google's, and its bad autocorrect performance in iOS 13 is a symptom of that problem.
