Ep 2: The TRUTH about our rv solar installation cost on our motorhome

In this episode we were going to give you a tour of the solar system in our RV, and the truth about how much the rv solar installation cost on our 2020 Winnebago class c.

As a full time RV family, we camp off grid (boondock) nearly exclusively because we enjoy the privacy, the peace and quiet, and it's free! But it has its drawbacks, like getting water, and power! We're a tech oriented family with laptops, phones, cameras, drones, and more, and our system provides 99% (excluding A/C) of our power allowing us to live the off grid life that we dream of.

This is our 2nd system (2nd rig) and we've been powered continuously by solar for close to two years now. Solar systems can be as simple (and as cheap) as you want, or you can spent a lot of money to have a fully integrated system that's safe and reliable. We chose the latter, knowing full well that there are cheaper installers.

In the end there's no "right" solar installation for everyone; there's just the one that works for YOU.

P.S. - When compiling the notes for this episode and blog post, and looking up links for the panels, we actually have an 800 watt solar array, not 780. The two larger panels are each 230 watts, and the two smaller panels are 170 watts each.
