White Shark takes a grey seal off Wellfleet, Massachusetts

A team off white shark researchers witnessed this white shark predation on a grey seal in outer Cape Cod waters. They were working with a spotter plane to track and photograph individual white sharks with an underwater pole camera as part of a five year study to assess the population of sharks visiting the area. It is very rare to witness this hunting behavior at close range.
