The Resident Evil 2 game was originally released on the PS1 in 1998, and was highly regarded as one of the greatest sequels of all time, along with one of the best PSX games ever made. In 2002, however, Capcom left the original classic exactly how it was and decided to focus their attention on a Resident Evil Remake - as in, Resident Evil 1. That game had game review after game review of positive reception, leaving fans begging Capcom for a Resident Evil 2 remake in exactly the same vein - because what could possibly go wrong? Well, that dream game everyone wanted didn’t happen exactly, and after so many Resident Evil remake HD ports and even Resident Evil 4 HD ports, it took 17 years from the original release for a Resident Evil 2 remake to finally come out on PS4, XBOX One and PC via Steam. It’s a lot different from what Caddy was expecting, with plenty of changes and a brand new perspective and control scheme, but how will the game fair in the Caddicarus episode about it? Get ready for the Resident Evil 2 review!
