Gibraltar to Madrid by train

A journey from Gibraltar to Madrid using the Algeciras to Madrid Atocha 'Altaria' train.

The video shows the Top of the Rock in Gib, the bus from la Linea at Algeciras bus station, and the excellent scenery seen on the train ride from Algeciras to Madrid.

We paid €28 each for the Algeciras-Madrid train journey, that's a cheap 'web' fare pre-booked at www.renfe.com.

The Algeciras-La Linea bus costs only about €3, a taxi will cost €24.75.

Yes, the train's TV screens DID show some programmes and a film, with free headphones distributed.
