Theater Talk: Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan on "SKYLIGHT"

The guests are actors Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan, the stars of David Hare's “Skylight,” being revived on Broadway in the spring of 2015. The pair talk about working with director Stephen Daldry to create this emotionally jarring and stylish production of what many consider to be Hare's finest play. “Skylight” received seven Tony Award nominations, including nods for Mulligan's and Nighy's lead performances.

On the subject of the TONY Awards, every year on the day after the nominations, all the chosen are brought together to be interviewed by dozens of press outlets in a hectic annual morning ritual at The Paramount Hotel, called "The TONY Meet and Greet." In this week's closing segment, our roving reporters AndrewAndrew represent “Theater Talk” at this year's event, where they talk to Hand to God playwright Robert Askins, Hand to God actor Steven Boyer, actress Kristin Chenoweth of On The 20th Century and the show’s costume designer William Ivey Long, actor Alessandro Nivola of The Elephant Man, actress Julie White of Airline Highway and an encore appearance by Carey Mulligan of Skylight.
