OnePlus 7 | What's new versus the 6T?

One of the most anticipated smartphone launches of 2019 is the OnePlus 7, a flagship handset which has been teased but not fully leaked ahead of its impending release date. We know that the OP7 will boast Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset and will be the first 5G phone to appear in the UK and Europe. That means a huge performance increase over the OnePlus 6T, released by the company at the end of last year.

However, the 5G variant of the OnePlus 7 is likely to be a 'special edition' model - after all, the price hike associated with this hardware will be too much for fans to stomach. The standard OP7 will likely cost around the £500 mark in the UK, similar to the 6T, with the Snapdragon 855 still firmly in place (just no x50 modem).

We're also expecting 6 to 10GB of RAM and an updated 4000mAh battery to round off the specifications. But will OnePlus upgrade the fingerprint sensor to a proper in-display 3D scanner, and what about the camera tech?
