Donald Trump, former President and 2024 republican presidential candidate, testifies in the civil fraud trial against him, his family and his company, often clashing with the judge.

President Joe Biden visits an Amtrak train maintenance facility in Delaware to announce $16 billion for two dozen projects on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, money from the 2021 infrastructure law.

Some House Republicans object to their leadership including cuts to Amtrak funding in a spending bill for the Transportation Department.

Senate is back in session consider aid to Israel, with the majority Democrat rejecting the House Republican-passed version that also includes offsetting reductions to the IRS budget.
