English Vocabulary Quiz | Can you pass this test? 😏✅
In this lesson you can test your English skills about the use of some of the most easily confused words. Many of them are false friends, words that apparently are similar to some words in your own language, but that in fact are totally different; and some others just have a rather confusing meaning.
Remember that vocabulary is a very important part of our learning process. We often tend to think that grammar is the must-know-thing. It definitely is important but, in my opinion, vocabulary is even more. You can express very specific ideas without using the right grammar (people will probably still understand you), but you may not be able to be that specific if you use the wrong words.
So try our VOCABULARY QUIZ!!! This is a really effective and enjoyable way to review things that you already learnt in the past and also to learn new ones! Do you know these concepts? Do you remember them?
We’ll have 10 situations containing a blank and 2 alternatives to fill in each blank. The 2 alternatives will be, of course, 2 words that people normally feel confused about, some of the most easily confused words. You’ll have 5 seconds to decide what the right answer is and then, we’ll check together which one is correct and we’ll see why.
