1 HOUR of Ground Movements at Manchester Airport, 26/07/18

My first video from the roof of the Terminal 1 Car Park at Manchester Airport, and what an amazing view it offers! This is by far my longest video, at nearly 3 times longer than the previous record holder! All of this footage was filmed throughout the morning, filmed over around 4 hours. At first, although I knew we were there for a long time, I didn't realise just how long the final video would end up being. Although you can't see any of the takeoffs or landings clearly from this location, you get an amazing view of the lineup of aircraft parked along Terminal 2, as well as some gates at T1.

This video was filmed on one of the hottest days of the year, and as there wasn't any shade, we had to sit in the shadows of cars in order to keep cool in some very warm summer heat. This is only the first part of the days trip, as once the Air Transat A330 left, we had lunch and decided to go to The Airport Pub to see the afternoon arrivals.

Some of the engine startups here sound amazing, such as the Virgin 747s, of which there were 3, which is more than I've ever seen before at Manchester. As usual, I've also included some information on screen about flight numbers and the origins/destinations, so you know where the aircraft are flying to and from.
