House Update: 01/30 The Walls are Hung, Countertops were Not in our budget?!?!??

Sorry for the slightly negative update. This was beyond frustrating for me to lean that our counter budget of $2,000 was reduced to $200 when we asked the contractor to move the kitchen to another part of the house (something he recommended). He never told us this added cost to the cabinets. We didn't find this out until we paid in full for granite only to find out we can't afford them.
