Kristen Wiig I Best Film & TV Roles

In my opinion, Kristen Wiig is the reigning Queen of Comedy. The range of insanely funny characters she played on Saturday Night Live alone is astounding, and she never delivered a disappointing performance.

In this piece, I focus on Wiig’s performances after she left SNL (I’m working on a separate video which focuses on that). Similar to Meryl Streep, I have decided to let the scenes play out; she has so many levels throughout some of these scenes, I felt some of them needed to be seen in their entirety.

I believe that comedic actors are still judged unfairly; it takes so much talent and skill to develop these characters. And she clearly is having a blast portraying these characters which makes her so much fun to watch.

I can’t wait to see what characters she will transform into next; she definitely has a long, rich career ahead of her and deservedly so.
