Precious metals expert Ted Butler joins Daniela Cambone to share the real story behind the silver squeeze— and why it may repeat itself. “I have never seen this in my 35 years covering the market,” he says, referring to how the price explosion has exposed blatant manipulation.

The reason silver manipulation is happening, Butler suggests, is actually the best reason to own the metal. "There are two kinds of manipulation, upside and downside— when a market is manipulated up, the last thing you want to do is buy it; downside is exactly the opposite, the price is artificially low, which makes it the best reason to own silver... we know from history that manipulations have to end one day." Once that happens, he asserts, we could see the silver price "headed to the heavens."
