Deacon Jim Miller - Old West Assassin

Jim B. Miller was known by many names. Deacon Jim, due to his association with the Methodist church, the long frock coats he wore, and his habits of never drinking or smoking.

He also was known as Killin’ Jim and Killer Miller. Both of these nicknames would be much more fitting than that of deacon. Jim Miller was the wild west version of a modern day hit man. At the time of his death he laid claim to killing 51 men. And his favorite tool for the job was a shot gun.
