Chosen Few Picnic & House Music Festival 2019 guest Thelma Houston Official is an OG diva who's still working her magic on stages & screens across the globe!

After early success with her #randb hit "Sunshower", Ms. Houston took home the #GRAMMY for best female R&B performance in 1977 for her MONSTER disco hit, "Don't Leave Me This Way", making her the first solo female Motown Records artist to win the honor. Her other dance smashes, “Saturday Night, Sunday Morning” and “I’m Here Again” have made her a dance floor staple, especially in Chicago! Ms. Houston continues to perform globally, from singing for world leaders to making new fans on "American Idol" and “America’s Got Talent”. To acknowledge her dedication to humanitarian causes, the City of West Hollywood named January 29, 2003 "Thelma Houston Day".
