Reverend Denis Edwards is a Professorial Fellow in Theology. He is a priest of the Archdiocese of Adelaide, resident in Tranmere parish. His teaching is in the areas of God the Trinity, Christology, Ecclesiology and the Theology of Faith and Revelation. He has been engaged in the dialogue between science and religion and in contributing to the developing field of ecological theology. His research here interacts with Karl Rahner and with figures from the tradition like Athanasius, Basil, Aquinas and Bonaventure. Another important area of interest is ecumenism. Denis has served on the Roman Catholic Dialogues with both the Anglican Church in Australia and the Lutheran Church of Australia and conducted research in the Theology of Receptive Ecumenism.
