Quarantine' s crafts vol.3 | DIY - Old suitcase makeover

An old suitcase belonged to my grandfather, with some parts of wood almost destroyed, turned into a completely different looking suitcase.

I used a lot of transparent wood glue and acrylic putty, I reused the metal parts after removing the rust with vinegar and painting them with bronze antique gold spray and I painted it with two colors of chalk paint.
For the inside, a very old version of the book "Early Days" by Miss Read gave me its' lovely yellow pages to cover it using transparent glue.

I enjoyed this project from the begining to the end!
