Pluses:
Took the wife and 3 kids to eftalia ocean resort and spa in April for 7 nights. We were blown away by this place. It is the best hotel in that area.. this place is huge. Full of luxury.. this place kept the kids occupied throughout the day and night. In the mornings we went to the beach, and let the kids swim there. Eat on the beach at lunch. Let them swim at the hotel in the afternoon, then have tea at the hotel. We had the swim up room. So let the kids swim in the evening. Then we would go out shopping in the local town. They would have food at burgerland which is 24/7,Then bed. I would definitely recommend the swim up room, pay the extra for it. Absolutely amazing. Stunning rooms. Spacious. I could not explain how much I would recommend this room. Mini bar gets stocked daily. Access to the safe (no extra charge) the private swimming pool is great.. food is delicious. Great variety. There are shops in which you can buy clothes, snacks, swimming accessories etc. Games play room. Spa is amazing. So much to do with swimming. All the waterskides are great fun. Even the kids ones. Trust me, if you have kids, book this hotel, even if you go with friends, or your partner. I am definitely going to go back here.. it is great value for money. Even if you go during school holidays, it might be abit expensive, but it is worth every penny.
Minuses:
Went to a trip with my friends as ultra all inclusive, but it wasnt like that. No one speaks english, no restaurants just one big cafeteria, only local drinks. Paid extra for better room, but got basic one, because they were out of them. At least the room was nice.
