Gangtok, Sikkim Sightseeing places & Typhoo | Episode 3

Nathula pass is closed on Monday & Tuesday. We wanted to go to Nathula pass on Day 3 of Gangtok journey but could do go there because of landslide.

On Day 3 of our journey in Gangtok, Sikkim we did local sightseeing and had local food.

Typhoo: This is also called as T Momo, its like a normal momo but bigger in size.

Above mentioned tourist destinations are within 5-7 kms from Gangtok.

It takes one full day to visit these places on a taxi, considering that you start your day at 10 am and end by 4 pm…

Travel to North sikkim needs permission, local taxi operators are very much aware about it…

Total minimum cost till morning of Day 3 at time of check out will be 7500 plus 3500 total Rs 11000.

There is a changu taxi stand from where share taxi starts you need to book from MG marg atleast 1 to 2 days in advance. These taxi drivers have will take your document and apply for permit...
