🎥 Last week we unexpectedly encountered some brown bellied marmots making a nest in the Sierras above 8,000ft (2,438m) elevation. I got lucky as I had 280mm focal length glass on me. It was heavy and I shot this fully handheld while breathing very heavily due to the exhaustion of the hike, and that shows up in the shakiness of the video. But it somehow adds a flavor to the playfulness of the marmots 😂
