Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have spoken up in support of the latest $908 billion bill introduced with bipartisan efforts.

Together they said, quote “we believe the bipartisan framework introduced by Senators yesterday should be used as the basis for immediate bipartisan, bicameral negotiations,”

There’s that caveat...The word “basis”, they go on to say, quote “we and others will offer improvements, but the need to act is immediate and we believe that with good-faith negotiations we could come to an agreement.”

Given Nancy’s “All or Nothing” stance so far these “improvements” could very quickly land us right back at her latest negotiation figures.

Mitch McConnell has expressed no support for the latest bill.

Steven Mnuchin and Nancy Pelosi spoke tuesday this week for the first time since October.

Mnuchin told the Speaker of the House he would review the bipartisan bill proposal as well as an unspecified “secret” proposal top Democrats offered GOP leaders on Monday.

After these meetings Mitch McConnell had a bit of a different tune.

He even went on to suggest that both sides are reaching a more productive phase in talks.

The Senate Leader said, quote “In the last several days, the Democratic leaders have signaled a new willingness to engage in good faith,”

This is especially good news, as Mitch spoke of an interest in combing COVID relief with the Government spending bill.

If leaders can get Mnuchin's latest $500 billion he freed up from the FED to cover McConnell’s Bill, they will only have to come up with another $408 billion to pick up the rest of the latest bipartisan bill.

Vaccine News:
BioNTech and partner Pfizer are poised to have the vaccines out and to the public at the start of next week.

The vaccine companies are facing many logistical and technical problems, varying from the extremely low temperatures required to store the vaccine to just getting people to the right places at the right time.

The CEO of BioNTech said the company is working on a generation II of the vaccine that will hopefully solve the low temperature storage issue. He aims to be able to store it at room temperature.

As the UK gears up for public release of vaccines many other countries around the world are putting in their orders.

But with such a massive need for these vaccines these systems and checks put into place are bound to face some outside interference.

IBM cyber security uncovered an email phishing scheme.

Masquerading as a chinese business executive at a credible cold-chain supply company the email was believed to be set up to farm important credentials for those involved in the shipping and distribution of vaccines to middle and low economic countries.

After the discovery IBM has warned all those involved to step up security as cyber attacks on health organizations are on the rise with these vaccines beginning to be disbursed to the public.
