CUTE BONDING BUNNIES - Quick tips

It is recommended that as a rabbit owner, you adopt two. Why? Rabbits are social creatures that form strong relationships lasting a lifetime.

Getting a partner for your rabbit should be part of the responsibility when it comes to taking care of your pet. Some bondings are very easy while others can be quite difficult. (Max and Oliver became bonded within a week and a half, so I was lucky!)

Here are a few quick tips for you:

1)When bonding bunnies, please keep in mind that the process can take anywhere from 2 weeks until 6 months to acheive. Each bunny has a different personality, which can be factor to consider throughout the process.

2) During the bonding process, you will need to have plenty of room and space for both rabbits. It is recommended that they both have their own living spaces to start with.

3) When bonding, you must be patient and keep a watchful eye over their playtime. Fights can break out the first few days over territorial issues.

4) During their playtime, it can be helpful to supervise both in a non-territorial location. Some people like to have bunny dates in the bathtub, as the location is new territory for both rabbits.
