Mud dauber wasp nest making process 🤯 #wasp #muddauber

Have you seen how mud dauber wasps make their nests? This is an old video of mine back when I just started recording activities of the insect world.

From what I observed, a mud dauber would first go in search for a water source and collect water. They then go to either an old tree trunk or to a muddy area to mix either wood dust or mud with the collected water and turn into a mud ball. This is then taken back to it's nest building area and applied all round it's nest neatly.

This process will be repeated until the whole nest is built.
