Plastic pipe fitting mould: a special 90° elbow injection mould.

This video introduces a set of plastic pipe fitting molds of 90-degree elbows. Bent pipe fittings, especially plastic elbows. Although the structure looks simple, in fact their corresponding injection mold structure is indeed very complicated. Common plastic elbow are 90 degrees and 180 degrees. The mold structure often uses core-pulling structures such as arc core and chain core.
The 90° elbow introduced in this video does not use the structure described above. Instead, it uses straight core pulling. Because the arc segment is relatively short. Of course, this is just one of the mold design solutions. It may not be the best mold design solution. But this is also the fun of mold making.
This mold has two cavities. Two 90° elbows can be produced at a time. This plastic elbow mold has two horseshoe-shaped cores. The driving device of the core pulling mechanism includes oil cylinders on both sides and a guide rail in the shape of a boomerang. In the video there are detailed analyses of various institutions.
